Dr John Wilkie
John has worked with tree crops for more than two decades. He undertook his PhD in subtropical tree crop physiology. He then went on to research productivity of apple, macadamia, mango and avocado orchards for the Queensland Department of Agriculture. In this role John developed and led large tree crop productivity research programs.
John now provides independent consulting services to growers, investors and agricultural input suppliers.
His detailed understanding of the science of orchard productivity allows him to identify high productivity management options for diverse orchards and environments.
